A puppy is a lifetime commitment. When you purchase a puppy from us and after a few days decide you don't want them for any reason, it is your responsibility to find them a home. Some people impulse bye, then decide a few days later they do not want them. WE ARE NOT WALMART! You do not get to take a puppy home, expose it to everything possible and then bring he or she back for a full refund. BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!!

Terms Buyer’s Responsibilities
___________1. This puppy is not covered if you, the buyer switch feed. The buyer has received a two-day supply of Pedigree Puppy. We do not recommend switching this puppy till at least 6 months of age. Switching feeds can be life threatening to your puppy. This can cause several reactions inside your puppy’s body, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastritis. This feed can be purchased just about anywhere.

__________2. Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pick-up. If the puppy is picked up on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday the 72 hour guarantee will start at the beginning of the week on Monday. Riverside Puppies must be informed immediately of examinations result. Must be the written copy from the veterinarian. The failure to provide a written copy of the exam within the 48 hour guarantee will result in cancellation of the health guarantee. No exceptions will be made under no circumstance unless other arrangement have been made by Riverside Puppies and the new buyer and have been documented in writing on this contract.
__________3. The buyer must provide your new puppy with routine preventative care, such as, but not limited to
* Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian
* Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming
________4. All deposits are non-refundable.
________5. This puppy is covered until 3 months of age against fatal and life threatening disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip displaysia which hampers a dog’s movement and gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature.
________6. This guarantee does not cover Coccidia, Giardia, and Kennel Cough, which is easy treated, and is common in pups that are shipped/traveled and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and is like the common cold. It must run its course. Full recovery is expected and kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening.
________7. This guarantee does not cover Parvo. This puppy leaves us with at least 2 vaccinations. It is you the buyers responsibility to keep your puppy up to date on all proper vaccinations and not to socialize your puppy with other dogs, veterinarian floors, parks, pounds, humane society’s and other places that your puppy could pick the disease up.
________8. This guarantee does not cover what we consider normal or common traits in puppies such as Cherry Eye, Gasternitis, Loose Hips, Loose Knees, Elongated Soft Palate, Pinched Nostrils or any other ailments such as worms, any viral bacterial diseases or disorders brought on by parasites. Fleas can be picked up in travel, along with other certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, examples are: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, démodéptic mange, and all other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
_______10. All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds. You only get a replacement puppy when available. You may however switch breeds. If the new puppy cost more you will only have to pay the difference and there will be no refunds of difference in money. The buyer understands that if the said canine is not returned there will be no exchange for replacement puppy and this contract is null and void.
______11. Riverside Puppies will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to a veterinarian and under that he/she will be responsible for all payments.
______12. A the date of delivery, the puppy has received proper vaccinations and dewormings. The buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and dewormings due.
______13. There are many types of dewormers. Most general wormers are used to remove large roundworms and hookworms in dogs or puppies. All puppies are dewormed before leaving premise, but the buyer should follow up with a fecal exam with your local veterinarian.
______14. Many toy breeds due to their size and rapid metabolism, are prone to a condition called Hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is a condition that occurs when your puppy’s blood sugar level (glucose) falls below normal. Glucose is what the body uses as fuel and is necessary for the brain tissue and muscles for function. Although it can be fatal, it is avoidable with proper knowledge. Hypoglycemia is not covered under this contract. We at Riverside Puppies will never under any circumstance sell a puppy if we know that it is having and issues what so ever with Hypoglycemia. First signs of distress or illness you the buyer must take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian.
______15. A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
* Animal must show the defects by 3 months of age. Seller must be notified of the problem within 2 business days with the Licensed Veterinarian determination and have 2 reports from 2 unassociated Veterinarians stating the same problem and Riverside Puppies will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.
* A puppy with a defect must be returned or euthanized with the prior permission of Riverside Puppies to qualify for a replacement puppy. NO refund, in part or in full, will be given.
______16. The buyer is responsible over transportation cost to and from Riverside Puppies to qualify for a replacement puppy.
______17. This guarantee applies to the original puppy and is non-transferable to a second party.
______18. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred, spayed neutered, or euthanized without Riverside Puppies permission.
_____19. The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the same exact parents as the original puppy.
_____20. Any physical problems or abuse caused by the buyer that could result in injury is not covered under this guarantee.
_____21. There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potential.
_____22.Riverside Puppies will not take back any puppy at anytime due to communicable diseases. It is you, the buyer’s responsibility to find a new home for the said canine purchased. This applies to landlord disagreement, family emergencies, allergies, other animals dislike, or for any reason. Once the said canine is purchased it is the buyer’s responsibility to find he or she a home if they do not work out for any reason.
_____23. Riverside Puppies can not guarantee you can housebreak your new puppy.
_____24. Riverside Puppies can not guarantee your puppy will bark or not bark.
_____25.When purchasing a non-purebred puppy, Riverside Puppies cannot warrant its exact lineage. We are going off of years of experience, breed standards, breeders word, and parents look. Riverside Puppies will release all know information on said puppy the day of purchase and can not be held responsible for mis representation of said canine.
_____26. This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements.
_____27. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
_____28. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that the contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Ohio, in the county of Meigs. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be Meigs County, Ohio.
